NMIT Hacks: Annual 48-hour hackathon since 2015, hosted by CSE Department.
Format: In-person, tracks in AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT, Game Development, Open Innovation.
Participation: 2,500+ registrations, 1,500+ idea submissions, teams from IIT Chennai, VIT, NITK.
Sponsors: Devfolio, ETHIndia, Polygon Labs (2024, expected 2025).
Event: 8th edition, May 16–18, 2025, NMIT Bangalore campus.
Tracks: AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT, Game Development, Open Innovation.
Prizes: INR 1,00,000+ total, cash, certificates, sponsor perks.
Achievements: Top 10 teams in finals, internships, industry recognition.
2024 Winners (Indicative):
- AI/ML Track: Venkatesh Sanwal, Nidhish Srivastava (CSE), Aditya Sinha (ECE) for AI solution.
- Krishi Prashikshan VR: Rakshitha N., Madhushree P. S., Joshitha K., Sneha K. (CSE 2024) won INR 1,00,000 at She Codes.
- Citizen Cane: Akarsh, Akif, Keerthan Byndoor, Mohammed Nayaz (CSE 2024) won 2nd, INR 5,000 at Protatva 2024.
